When was the last time you left St. Louis Union Station on a real passenger train? Here is your chance to relive the experience, or experience it for the first time.
Enjoy a circle route trip around the Illinois side of the Mississippi River, including a spectacular view across the river of the Gateway Arch and downtown St. Louis.
The St. Louis Chapter National Railway Historical Society (NRHS), in cooperation with St. Louis Union Station and the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis (TRRA), is offering the chance to depart Union Station on a two-hour train ride around the Metro East. The train will depart from Union Station at 11:00 a.m. and cross the Mississippi River on the MacArthur and Merchants Bridges before returning to St. Louis Union Station about 1:00 p.m. The exact route is subject to change due to railroad traffic levels and Merchants Bridge construction.
(limit two child admissions per adult fare).

Tickets may be purchased on-line or by mail. (For mail see below) Fill out all requested information. Online tickets may be purchased with PayPal, VISA, MasterCard or Discover.

To purchase tickets by mail, please print the Ticket Order Form. Fill it out completely, make your check payable to St. Louis Chapter NRHS and mail both items to the address indicated on the form. The full purchase amount is due with ticket order.
Online ticket sales end October 1. Mail in orders must be postmarked by October 1.
Tickets will not be available train side on the day of the trip.
Tickets are non-refundable unless the trip is canceled by the St. Louis Chapter NRHS.
Railcars are not ADA compatible due to their historic nature.
Seats are not assigned.
Tickets will not be issued. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your ticket order along with boarding instructions from the St. Louis Chapter NRHS (all.aboard@stlouisnrhs.org). Passengers will be checked in upon arrival at the boarding gate.
Restrooms are available on the train.
Food and beverages are not allowed to be brought on the train. Bottled water will be available.
Smoking or vaping is not allowed.
St. Louis Union Station charges for parking. There is no exception for this trip.
