St Louis Public Service PCC Car #1711 was built in St. Louis by the St. Louis Car Company.
It was delivered to St Louis Public Service Company (PSC) in September 1946.
It remained in operation in St Louis until 1957 when it was leased to the
Municipal Railway (MUNI) of San Francisco.
In 1963, the car was formally purchased by MUNI.
