This engine was built in 1943 by the American Locomotive Company for the Alanta & Saint Andrews Bay Line as "#905". It was sold in 1955 to the Tennessee Railway and there numberd as "#1". After several other owners its final running in service was for the A&M in excursion trains.

Donated to Museum Of Transportation in January 2002 by the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad.
