Built - December 1905 by Locomotive and Machine Works of Montreal, a Canadian division of ALCO - sn #38914 in Montreal QC, Canada
For Intercolonial Railway as engine #346 in April 1916 it was then transfered to the Canadian Government Railways as #425
In September 1919 the engine was renumbered as CNoR #5529
January 1923 the engine was merged into the newly formed Canadian National Railway Company as #5529
November 1958 the engine was donated to the National Museum of Transport by the Canadian National Railway
