11528 Bullalo Springfield Roller

Buffalo-Springfield was an American manufacturer of Steam rollers.
The company was created in 1916 by the merger of Buffalo Pitts of New York and Kelly Springfield of Ohio, USA.
This steam roller (or steamroller) was used for flattening/compacting roads
It is powered by a steam engine. The levelling/flattening action is achieved through a combination of the size and weight of the vehicle and the rolls: the smooth wheels and the large cylinder.
