As the Gateway to the West, St. Louis has always been at the hub of transportation.
The Museum of Transportation is honored to showcase the grand heritage and proud
tradition of this hub. The result is that our museum is expanding into the lower
level area and changing the entire museum landscape. It is in this area that there
is now stuffiest new parking. There is a miniature train already operating and soon
a new visitor center will be built. For the convenience of the visitors a Tram shuttle
takes people from either level without negotiating the hill. The Tram has stops at the
Earl C. Lindburg Automobile Center Plaza on the upper level and at the miniature train
and parking lot on the lower level. The planned schedule is to run about every twenty minutes.
