#2 - Laclede Christy 1907
This 0-4-OT Four Wheel Switcher was build by Davenport Locomotive Works. It is a coal burning, narrow gauge (30"), saddle tank locomotive that was used at the Laclede Christy Company in St. Louis to move car loads of clay to the plant. It carried its water and fuel on the engine so it did not need a tender. It was donated in 1952 by the Laclede Gas Company.
Did You Realize: The Museum of Transportation in West St. Louis County, Missouri, houses "one of the largest and best collections of transportation vehicles in the world." according to the Smithsonian Institution.
