#13889 MoPac Railroad Caboose


Built -1980 by Missouri Pacific railroad

Bay Window Caboose

A total of 350 of these main line cabooses were built by the railroad between 1977 and 1981 as the last such cars made by the Missouri Pacific. 

The cars were manufactured in the Missouri Pacific shops at DeSoto, MO starting in 1978 to 1982. Then they were moved to there shops in Sedalia, MO, where they were outfitted for long distance mainline services.

 

Donated to MOT in 2000 by the Union Pacific Railroad.
