The St. Louis Chapter National Railway Historical Society invites you to join us as we head off for a new destination –

St. Louis to the Golden Gate.
Andy Sisk presents a PowerPoint view of his visits to LA (via SW Chief!) in February and riding on the
Canadian ("Moonlighters" special trip) in March.
Charlie Dasho presents his 1969 recordings of the Golden Spike recreation celebrating the completion
of the transcontinental railroad 100 years before. This May marks 150 years since that pivotal achievement
in American history.
An Eastern Rails Freight Sojourn, by George Chaisson
The presentation includes the busy CSX, former Conrail, freight corridor from North Bergen, NJ (NYC)
to Washington, DC, which replicates the B & O's famous "Royal Blue Route." Included are older 35mm sldes
and newer images from 2012-2016.
Folks still ask about the status and we would like to provide that information. Information regarding Frisco 1522 is now available on the St. Louis Chapter NRHS website.
In September Chapter members traveled to Albuquerque on the private railcar Cimarron River.
