Illinois Terminal #206 - 1952

Illinois Terminal Railbus was built by the White Motor Company as a school bus.  It was adapted to rail by the IT Railroad which equipped it with a special rear axle, flanged wheels and a four wheel front bogie truck.  The railbus, 'The Dinky', was used to transport passengers between Grafton and Alton IL.  It was donated to the Museum in in 1955 by the Illini Railroad Club.
